Hub Accessibility Statement
This Staff and Student Hubs are created and operated by Solihull College and University Centre. They are accessed via Microsoft Office 365 authentication and therefore accessible only to current staff and students of the College. The sites act as a central point for a range of different information and services offered to staff and students and also act as the browser home page when logging in to the College’s Virtual Desktop (Hive) both on and off campus. Links are provided through a navigation bar to internal resources such as forms, policies and procedures and also to other systems (for example Microsoft Office 365). The Hubs are also used to communicate key messages to staff and students, to and to publish internal news stories.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how users can access key College services, and some of our forms are published as Word and PDF documents.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.
